PHP Developer

Looking for a PHP developer Expert needed who has CodeIgniter experience to finish partially finished ecommerce site that has a loyalty/reward program attached to it.

I will discuss only if you have CodeIgniter experience because the system is half built in CodeIgniter. Apply only and only if you know CI.

We are building an ecommerce site including a loyalty/rewards system.

Requirements & Conditions:

1. Has to have PHP/MySQL/CodeIgniter experience.

2. Prefer to work from 10.00 AM MST to 4.00 PM MST but I am flexible.

3. Daily communication is necessary

4. Should be willing to talk over phone or skype.

5. Must be willing to work to completion of project.


Further requirements:

*You have to have good communication skills, fluent written English is required.
Verbal skills are not a requirement, but would be an advantage.

*You should act and work professional, meet deadlines and deliver daily updates on your work.

*Deliver clean, bug-free and commented code. Always make sure your application works, before delivering any update.

*Of course your hourly rate, which should be competitive

Website Manager



Key member of web strategy team. Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's websites.

REQUIREMENTS
·       Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, project management, or marketing or equivalent work experience.
·       Experience in designing, developing, deploying, managing, and supporting advanced e-commerce websites.
·       Proficiency working with PHP, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and MySQL database required.
·       Current knowledge of best practices of UI design and SEO techniques
·       Working knowledge of MAC, Windows, Linux platforms.
·       Version control experience using SVN.
·       Familiarity with social media tools including Facebook plug-ins, Twitter, and RSS feeds, etc.
·       Understanding of electronic advertising and marketing methods.
·       Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
·       Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
·       Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
·       Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
·       Adobe Photoshop experience a plus.
·       Proficient in English (written/spoken).

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
·       Experience with Yii framework or related MVC framework experience desired.
·       Project management expertise with the specific ability to translate technical requirements into functional specifications and actionable work plans desired.
·       Knowledge of other programming languages recommended.
·       Linux server administration experience desired.
·       Experience managing multiple websites continuously.

    Next Generation Web-based Physics Engine support for Mobile Platforms
    To help build the next generation mobile platform, Samsung R&D in San Jose, CA is seeking Summer Interns with interest in modern browser architectures, with knowledge of parallel computing and multi-core systems, and a desire to enhance their expertise in mobile software and hardware, by helping build Physics Engine support for Web-based applications.  This Summer Internship position will be part of a research and development team, focusing on enabling parallel computing through browsers.
    Qualifications
    ·         Holding or pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.), or related field, with a focus on/interest in browser technologies, parallel programming principles and techniques, and multi-core acceleration.

    Internship Opportunity

    Who we are:
    We are a young startup company getting ready for our first rounds of investment. We have detailed and drawn out an extensive web-project that is focused on bridging the gap between promoting any type living space (i.e. vacation rentals, homes for sale, apartments for rent) with an online social gathering twist.


    What we are looking for:
    We need an ambitious programer with a good balance of front end and back end knowledge. The internship is part time with a flexible schedule. There is no mandatory office location, just frequent team meetings to help manage progress. We are looking for a developer to help build the beginnings of a possible large scale web-platform. Because the site will be in beta development we are willing to work with someone who can learn from this experience as much as they contribute to the project.

                A new local venture with big ideas is looking for an intern developer to help bring a new product to market. We are seeking creative and self-motivated candidates who are prepared to think outside of the box in order to solve complex problems in innovative ways.     Requirements

                It is our intention to bring on an intern who will eventually be able to lead the development of major features of a product. As such, it is important to us that they be willing to work hard to sharpen their skills both as a developer and as a communicator.
