 In this position, you will be responsible for coding of C# .NET, ASP .NET, VB.NET or SQL Server procedures, views and queries. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Communicate with system analysts, business analysts to understand the requirements
- Develop application codes to meet business requirements
- Develop test cases, create test scripts and perform testing to ensure the quality of the application
- Document technical solutions

Other Job Description: Develops, implements, and maintains computer-based systems to meet business requirements. Application Developers analyze, design, construct, train, and implement application systems. Activities include documenting decisions, adhering to standards and communicating with business groups. Other responsibilities may include providing standards and/or guidelines for development, responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur, and developing solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. 

Qualifications

You should possess a Bachelor of Arts degree and/or a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field. Additional qualifications include:
- Academic or intern experience working on SQL server or other relational database technologies.
- Academic or intern experience developing applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C# .NET.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Great team player

Part-time Programmers Needed

Idea Brokers is a local company that brokers media, and intellectual properties as well as site building and site management.  We are growing and need to hire 1-2 students for part time work.  The student should be proficient with HTML and CSS.   The ideally applicant would know Java Script and be able to complete some content writing.   We expect that each student will work 10-20 hours and we’re flexible with school schedules.   The job’s pay will start at $10 - $15/ hr depending on ability.

Java Developer
