The Active Network seeks a highly motivated and skilled QA Tester to join our growing QA team in Draper, UT.

In this position, you will work with a fun team of skilled professionals on web-based software solutions and products for large conferences, conventions, and trade shows taking place around the world.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect requirements, create test plans, test cases and matrices to ensure comprehensive coverage.

• Communicate test requirements to product management and development teams reviewing project requirements for testability.

• Provide feedback on feature design and functionality to development and product management.

• Log bugs in a comprehensive format including well documented steps to reproduce, expected behavior, and actual behavior.

• Work with project management team to confirm that all requirements are collected to ensure thorough testing.

• Work with product management and development teams to make certain that quality is "built in" from the ground up in base product.

• Automate test cases using Selenium

• Setup and maintain test environment

• Design and implement load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.

Required Qualifications

• Work well with others.

• Minimum 2 – 3 years experience in Software Q.A.

• Good knowledge of Q.A. tools and methodologies

• Experience designing and implementing test strategies

• Experience scoping, defining and implementing automated testing framework.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Selenium

• Experience writing Firefox plug-ins

• Experience working on an Agile software team

• Experience working with @Task

• Experience working with Jira

• Experience working with relational databases (SQL, Oracle)

• Experience with Javascript, HTML, and CSS
