Website Manager


Key member of web strategy team. Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's websites.

REQUIREMENTS
·       Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, project management, or marketing or equivalent work experience.
·       Experience in designing, developing, deploying, managing, and supporting advanced e-commerce websites.
·       Proficiency working with PHP, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and MySQL database required.
·       Current knowledge of best practices of UI design and SEO techniques
·       Working knowledge of MAC, Windows, Linux platforms.
·       Version control experience using SVN.
·       Familiarity with social media tools including Facebook plug-ins, Twitter, and RSS feeds, etc.
·       Understanding of electronic advertising and marketing methods.
·       Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
·       Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
·       Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.
·       Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
·       Adobe Photoshop experience a plus.
·       Proficient in English (written/spoken).
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
·       Experience with Yii framework or related MVC framework experience desired.
·       Project management expertise with the specific ability to translate technical requirements into functional specifications and actionable work plans desired.
·       Knowledge of other programming languages recommended.
·       Linux server administration experience desired.
·       Experience managing multiple websites continuously.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Participate in the web strategy decision making process. Responsible for implementing web strategies throughout the organization.
·       Manage and implement web projects through assessment and definition, creative and technical design, programming, testing, quality assurance, production, and launch.
·       Administration of website content.
·       Web server maintenance and support including software installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
·       Website and database security, backup, and disaster recovery.
·       Monitor and troubleshoot databases to optimize database performance.
·       Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties.
·       Working with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop the master content calendar for all web properties.
·       Keep current with emerging web technologies.
·       Track and report on all-site metrics.
·       Work cooperatively with key team members, clients, and vendors
