Job Summary:
A candidate for this position will prototype product UI and work with a team of software
engineers to ensure consistent and professional implementation. They will also be responsible
for assisting marketing with developing brand direction by designing and implementing pixel
perfect in-application graphics, icons, layouts, and the general look and feel of our software
products to suit our customers needs.
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing production useable graphics, artwork, layout designs, and
mockups.
Understanding customer requirements and meeting critical needs within schedule and
cost constraints.
Gathering engineering and marketing feedback from mockups and prototypes, and using
this feedback to refine and improve design.
Creating and enforcing user interface standards across the entire product experience.
Researching and translating data involving customer needs and abilities into simple and
consistent user interface patterns which will maximize ease of use.
Education:
Bachelors Degree preferred with 2 years experience, or an equal amount of proven job
experience.
Position Requirements:
The candidate must have hands-on practical experience in the fields of Computer Science,
Computer Aided Graphics Design, User Interface Design, or a related discipline.
This individual shall be experienced in the requirements development process and have
a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various lifecycle
processes. This position requires excellent written communication/verbal communication
skills and the ability to work within a team. The candidate shall have proven
analytical and problem solving skills.
