Software Development Intern
This position is based in Boise, Idaho.
Requirements:
Strong problem solving skills
Working towards Computer Science degree
Classroom experience with an object-oriented language (Java, C++, C#, etc.)
Q: What would my schedule need to be like to work there?
A: Summer interns typically work 30-40 hour per week. Hours need to be sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. during the week (no Saturdays or Sundays).
Q: What would I be working on?
A: As for technologies, mostly Java. But don’t worry if you aren’t a Java expert; we do allow for some on the job learning. We also do a fair amount of database programming, web programming, and applications that do batch processing. You’d probably start out on our data team or production operations team, and after some time have projects on our new functionality team as well.
