Seamless is currently
seeking a Test Engineer. This person will have the responsibility to
assist in the daily activities of the Quality Assurance department. Some
of their primary responsibilities will include working with Project Management
and development to ensure that the software we create achieves and maintains
the highest levels of quality possible and to build and maintain a test
automation suite to provide continuous testing amidst our rapid release cycle.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:

Previous
experience creating and executing effective tests to improve quality
·
Assisting development
team in completing projects that will introduce new features and new
functionality to our site
·
Participate
with a team of software developers on moderate to large-sized projects and
provide technical leadership in several aspects of software construction from
basic software coding to providing input in specific tools and languages -
.NET, C#, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.
·
Work with
project management in establishing proper project plans, including all aspects
of quality assuranceParticipate in technical training programs and discussions
·
Assist the IT
management in building a high performance and continuous improvement culture,
while modeling a positive approach and "can do" attitude.
Requirements:
·
Bachelors
degree or equivalent work experience
·
2+ years of
professional software development experience, including n-tier software
development experience and professional .NET development experience (C#
preferred)
·
Experience
with ASP.NET, preferably with C#
·
2+ years of
Quality Assurance experience
·
Ability to
perform testing tasks such as planning, scheduling and testing software
products to ensure products meet design specifications and functionality
requirements
·
Familiarity
with various testing types and techniques: Black Box, White box, integration,
usability, smoke, negative, acceptance, regression, etc.
·
Expert
troubleshooting and reasoning skills
·
Performing
creative and real-world testing to isolate problems
·
Familiarity
with Quality Assurance methods and practices
·
Familiarity
with SQL preferred
·
Experience
with an agile software development methodology preferred
