As a leader in sound production and audio engineering, Aphex, located in Burbank, California, creates audio enhancement equipment, licensable proprietary technologies for Professional, commercial and consumer applications. Aphex products are used in studios, live events and broadcast. Aphex is now preparing to launch our patented audio enhancement Apps into the worldwide consumer marketplace for music lovers and those searching for better voice intelligibility. As Aphex begins strategic and tactical planning for its new Apps business, key personnel have been identified to pioneer and manage this sales channel.


Role: Applications Manager

The primary role of the Aphex Apps Manager (“Mgr.”) involves finding, developing, and securing Apps opportunities in a highly competitive and rapidly changing environment. The Apps Manager will be responsible for participating and contributing in the development of the necessary strategic and tactical  planning with Aphex senior management, leading and documenting the new Apps efforts through the sales cycle to build a successful Apps business model. Mgr. will evangelize the Aphex vision across multiple customer organizations, develop and sustain high-level reseller/partner/customer relationships, and identify key stakeholders and business partners. Mgr. must be a self-starter working with urgency, experienced and knowledgeable in the Apps marketplace, prepared to co-develop annual Apps business plans, time lines and deadlines, develop and maintain an Apps portfolio,seek out opportunities in this new budding marketplace and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets and execute against the plan.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the Apps sales channel and its business within Aphex.
  • Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to ensure broad penetration of Aphex’s Apps.
  • Create budgets and plans to execute per business plan and Apps marketing plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the Aphex team to maximize Apps opportunities.
  • Hire and manage Apps personnel as business grows. (Marketing, Programming, etc.)
  • Drive product planning and development.
  • Source Apps production and manage timelines and deadlines.
  • Manage scheduling, sourcing, request for quotes, contracts and relationships with vendors.
  • Oversee App beta tests.
  • Manage creation of online and digital audio and video demonstrations.
  • Manage promotions and incentive programs.
  • Interact with legal team to secure trademarks, patents, URLs and emails.
  • Work closely with assorted Apps platforms and Apps stores and resellers.
  • Develop and deliver presentations where needed to promote Aphex Apps.
  • Research competitors and build compelling competitive advantages for Aphex Apps to differentiate Aphex
  • Understand reseller needs, requirements, methodologies and strategies for increasing awareness.
  • Develop and manage strategic partner sales and promo programs to leverage their customer bases.
  • Act as the point person for correspondence regarding emails and calls about Aphex Apps.
  • Work with opinion leaders and endorsers of the Apps. Create opportunities and exposure with Aphex Artists and opinion leaders.
  • Work with Aphex PR team to create buzz and drive social marketing.
  • Drive awareness and viral efforts and initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Manage events, demonstrations, and exposure opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Apps sales and marketing experience.
  • Business management experience.
  • Project management experience.
  • Displays excellent presentations skills
  • Proven ability to sell and promote tech/online products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit – Desire to grow a division and have bona fide impact on Aphex business.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, competitive, thorough, urgent, and tenacious.

Web Developer Needed

My name is Danielle Clark and I work for a local pop-up clothing boutique named, Farasha. Just to give you a little background, we represent emerging designers from all over the world and we specialize in setting up pop-up boutiques and special events here in Utah and across the US.
