Web Site Developer Needed
We
are seeking a creative individual who is well versed in web site programming
and development. We are planning a
complete overhaul of our medical website.
The new website will need to be programmed to incorporate probability
estimates for automated diagnosis assistance based on data supplied by the
user. This will require estimating
basic probability distributions based on means and standard deviations and
possibly implementations of more sophisticated algorithms similar to quantitative
pedigree analysis or complex segregation analyses. No specific knowledge of these methods is needed but the
ability to incorporate complex statistical and decision algorithms into a
web-based setting is required. A
user-friendly front end for inputting data will need to be developed. Also, data obtained will be stored in a
database which can be accessed by the principal investigator, all in compliance
with standard privacy rules (HIPAA).
In addition to the diagnosis tool and database, we want to update
medical information content and provide a full service web site for our patient
population and their physicians. A
strong part-time effort is envisioned.
