Liberty Mountain is one of the largest wholesale distributors of technical outdoor products in the US.  We are in need of a motivated individual to help operate our IT help desk.  This individual will ideally be a student in a technical or a computer sciences related field.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for trouble shooting IT systems, office software and peripherals, and inter-department "customer service".  The position will be 20-30 hour per week and is temporary through Dec 31, 2012 with permanent placement TBD after that date. 

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills

·         Proficiency with the following operating systems:

o   Windows XP

o   Windows 7

o   Windows Server 2008

o   OSX Snow Leopard

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

·         Proficiency with troubleshooting computer peripherals

·         A basic understanding of Active Directory

MotionSlice, an IT Consulting company specializing in CRM solutions and deployment, is looking for two to three young and talented part-time .Net programmers to augment our existing team of developers. We are primarily looking for students majoring in Computer Science desiring a job that will grow with them.

Scheduling is very flexible. It is a part-time, 15-20 hours per week position, but those hours are up to the employee to schedule around their class load. Employees will be expected to spend all or some time on location. Locations vary with each client, but a large amount of work can be done remotely from any location (such as on campus or from home). Adobe's digital imaging cloud team is seeking a highly motivated individual with cloud technologies and RESTful web services experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for digital imaging and video. Designs, develops, and updates web-based applications. Responsible for website maintenance department wide. Provides technology support by troubleshooting and correcting problems with web-based applications, audio visual hardware or software applications.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree and 1 year experience in computer related field, 3 years experience in computer related field, or equivalency is strongly recommended. Demonstrated computer skills, human relations and effective communication skills are required. Knowledge of PHP, CSS, MySQL, and JQuery are required. Knowledge of servers and databases recommended. Knowledge of Adobe CS suite recommended.

The incumbent must be able to prioritize requests and be able to handle concerns of impatient or dissatisfied customers.

Incumbent must understand license restrictions and confidentiality guidelines in reference to applications and information stored within the network. Incumbent must keep updated with the new computer technology and understand how these relate to ongoing problems.
