Position: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Park City, UT
· Skullcandy is searching for an individual with hybrid business and technical skills who can help us address our systems needs in our rapidly changing environment. We’re looking for someone with up to five years’ relevant experience however this could also be an entry level position for the right candidate. Salary is based on skillset and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Analyze complex business problems and develop solutions using processes and systems
· Own and drive systems projects from start to finish – gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support solutions that deliver business value
· Take our business analytics to the next level with a world class reporting, dashboard, and ad-hoc analysis tool
· Become an expert in SAP Business By Design and help support and adapt the system to stay one step ahead of where our business is going
· Proactively identify areas where we can use systems to solve business problems and implement practical solutions
· Kick in where needed on a wide range of projects including hardware and software upgrades, forecasting, and EDI integration
· Respond to production support issues and identify and drive root cause corrections to systems problems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Required:
o Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or equivalent.
o Ability to quickly understand business needs to form solutions using systems
o Comfortable multi-tasking and performing all aspects of the systems analysis lifecycle: design, development, testing, and production support
o Ability to work as part of a team or individually
· Plus: 3 or more of the following:
o Experience with off-the-shelf ERP software packages, preferably SAP Business By Design
o Experience with off-the-shelf Forecasting software packages, preferably Oracle Demantra
o Project management skills: experience running small to medium size projects, hitting deadlines, managing cross functional teams
o Experience in a multi-company, multi-country, multi-currency business environment
o Technical writing, documentation, and training skills
o Web Developent, Corporate Intranet site design
o Programming experience, language being less important than the structured thinking behind it
o SQL Coding, data warehouse, and reports design - preferably using Microsoft SQL Server and Reporting Services
o Experience working in a business/systems environment in a related industry such as retail, fashion, action sports, consumer products, or high tech electronics
o Hands-on experience setting up, configuring and supporting enterprise integration middleware solutions
