CollegeAmerica Services Inc. (CASI) is a privately held company
that has been under the same ownership for nearly 20 years. CASI
operates for-profit Colleges and owns Stevens-Henager
Colleges in Utah and Idaho (including Independence University);
CollegeAmerica in Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming; and California College
San Diego. CASI is accredited by a national accrediting commission
recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. CASI
is a degree-granting institution and offers degrees in Computer
Science, Graphic Arts, Business/Accounting, Medical Specialties,
Nursing, and Healthcare Administration.
Database Developer III
This Position will be responsible for
building reports using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS 2008), Ad-Hoc
reports from
Microsoft SQL databases (SQL 2005/2008), third party data mining tools,
and creating PDF or other electronic forms for information services.
Additional work includes SQL Integration Services, database maintenance,
performance monitoring, third party data integration,
and SQL Agent Job administration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·
Ability to design and execute complex queries in Microsoft SQL.
·
Create reports using Microsoft SSRS 2008.
·
Create and maintain Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services packages.
·
Design, write or re-engineer database scripts to enhance information services.
·
Create PDF or other electronic forms.
·
Ability to define and implement solutions with minimal guidance.
·
Monitor SQL Agent activities.
·
Integrate with third party data sources.
·
Help design effective Information Services processes.
REQUIRED TECHNOLOGIES:
·
5 years SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS 2008)
·
7 years writing Ad-Hoc queries, procedures, and functions in a Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 server environment.
·
1 Years SOAP development experience
·
1 year SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development
·
1 year web services development
·
1 year C# development including web services
·
1 years XML experience including XMLHTTP/AJAX
·
2 years creating and maintaining data warehouses.
·
Strong understanding of database concepts including normalization, optimization, etc.
