iGlobal Exports is a small and growing company established in 2009. We provide software, web technology and support to United States based companies to allow them to sell to international customers. We pride ourselves on our custom architected Java based software and our dedication to customer satisfaction. Our company more than doubled in size in 2011 and we're on track to triple in size in 2012. Our office is located in West Jordan, Utah.

 

Job Summary

We are looking for an eager Java software developer.  Experience is a plus, yet ability to self learn and deliver software solutions quickly will make this position a success.  Being able to Test your code is a MUST!  You will participate on a small team, working under the direction of our software architect / team lead.  In this position you will have the opportunity to wear many hats, from Java Developer, to DB engineer, as well as Systems Administrator.  If you have the drive to be the best and want the room to grow in your skills and responsibility then please apply.  If you are more interested in a short job description and repetitive daily work then this is not the right fit for you.  We will demand a lot of technical growth from this position, as well as the ability to be responsible for technical aspects adjacent to java coding like cloud computing administration. 

 

Preferred Technical Skills or Experience

Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax 

Java 6 Proficiency including:  Hibernate, Spring, JSP, Servlets

Tomcat Expertise as a Production Servlet Container

Apache Web Server 

Web Services: REST & SOAP

Linux Expertise

Security Best Practices for Web Applications

Understanding of common Design Patterns

Experience Delivering a web application to Production usage

 

Additional Preferred Skills or Experience

GWT (Google Web Toolkit), you will be working with GWT in this position.

Experience delivering large Enterprise class web applications

Linux Administration

Amazon EC2 / Cloud Computing

E-Commerce Background

Shipping / Logistics Background

Other Programming Languages a Plus
