Qualifications
BS or MS in one of the following disciplines: Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Some experience and/or active interest in working with various platform ingredients (HW, Bios/FW, drivers, OS, applications)
- 1-2 year experience and knowledge of software programming languages: C++, C# and/or Java
- Knowledge and/or experience with Scrum/agile methods is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork skills, and a strong orientation towards delivering business results
- Knowledge of security solutions would be a plus
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will design and develop software to meet business requirements to enable Intel’s vPro technology. You will work with a cross-geo team to contribute to software architecture, create prototypes and productize end solutions. You will document software specifications, design and develop software, create test plans, validate software and deploy high-quality end products with release plans and software usage specifications. You will engage with customers and end users to fix bugs and provide software support for end products. You will get the opportunity to quickly build a strong network of key champions and stakeholders, and be part of a highly competent and tightly integrated team.
Your other responsibilities may include identifying productive methods for cross-geo agile software development, and developing innovative solutions to problems using your technical skills and good judgment.
