Software Interns

Blackrock Microsystems LLC manufactures a range of scientific equipment to record from the central and peripheral nervous system in both chronic and acute applications.  The manufacturing division, located in the Research Park area near the University of Utah, has an opening for a Software Intern.

Required skills and qualifications:

·      Majoring in Computer Science or similar degree

·      Working knowledge of C/C++.

·      Strong organizational skills.

·      Thorough and detail oriented.

·      Excellent reading, writing and communication skills in the English language.

·      Excellent editing skills.

·      Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

·      Excellent problem solving skills.

·      Must be able to handle stressful situations.

·      Excellent people skills.

·      Excellent reading comprehension.

Desired Qualifications:

·      Familiarity with MFC

·      Familiarity with Linux

·      Familiarity with Real-time systems

·      Experience in a regulated software environment (e.g. medical devices)

·      Familiarity with source control systems

·      Familiarity with graphics programming
