IT Help Desk - Part-time



Liberty Mountain: IT Help desk

Liberty Mountain is one of the largest wholesale distributors of technical outdoor products in the US.  We are in need of a motivated individual to help operate our IT help desk.  This individual will ideally be a student in a technical or a computer sciences related field.

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for trouble shooting IT systems, office software and peripherals, and inter-department "customer service".  The position will be 20-30 hour per week and is temporary through Dec 31, 2012 with permanent placement TBD after that date. 

What we are looking for:

Technical Skills
·         Proficiency with the following operating systems:
o   Windows XP
o   Windows 7
o   Windows Server 2008
o   OSX Snow Leopard
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
·         Proficiency with troubleshooting computer peripherals
·         A basic understanding of Active Directory
·         A basic understanding of networks and networking

General Skills
·         Strong interpersonal skills
·         Strong research skills
·         Proactive communication with clients and team members
·         The ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time

Additional Skills
·         An understanding of automation and batches/scripts in MS Dos. Power Shell is a plus
·         General knowledge of mobile operating systems:
o   Windows CE
o   iOS
o   Android 2.2/2.3
·         An understanding of Microsoft Exchange server
·         Familiarity with backups/restores and data recovery
·         Experience with Sysaid is a plus
