Lucidchart is a powerful HTML5/JavaScript application dedicated to creating a user experience that is indistinguishable from an installed native application using cutting edge technologies such as Node.js, Google Closure Library, LESS CSS, Scala, MongoDB and MySQL.

Lucidchart is led by CEO Karl Sun, who graduated first in his class at MIT in CS/EE. Karl went on to be a top Google executive for many years, including opening Google's office and leading business development in China. The development team is led by Ben Dilts, who founded Lucidchart after building another web-based startup from concept to the front page of the Wall Street Journal to profitability. Lucidchart is funded by prominent angel investors and seed funds, including 500 Startups, K9 Ventures, Mort Meyerson, and numerous Silicon Valley tech founders and executives.
