Programmers needed


The Energy & Geoscience Institute (EGI) at the University of Utah is the world’s largest University-based, industry cost shared upstream research program. EGI is currently looking at filling programming positions through part-time positions and preference will be given to current Master's level students at the University of Utah. The graduate research assistant student programmer will be expected to work at least 15–20 hours a week.  The work involves designing and building a web-based database and front-end application to be used by both academic institutions and in industries ranging from geothermal energy to oil companies.  EGI is a non-profit organization affiliated with the University of Utah and located at 423 Wakara Way Suite 300 in research park.

Compensation: $15/hour + tuition benefit is available for graduate students pending student's academic department's approval.
  • Must be currently enrolled as either a part-time or full-time student at the University of Utah
  • Ability to work in a group and alone
  • One year experience in at least two of:
    •  C#
    •  Hibernate
    • Databases
    • Testing
    • Web Design
    • PHP
  • Prefer .Net Experience
