CAD Engineer — PCELL / Design Automation Support and Development - BOI26078 

Description

As a CAD Engineer at Micron, you will be working in a fast paced, collaborative, highly visible, production support role developing and supporting EDA tools and flows for the physical layout and design of CMOS integrated circuits.  In this position, you will work closely with the design and process teams using computer programming languages to help develop PCELLS and design automation tools and methodologies to increase the productivity of the layout and schematic design teams.  Additionally, you will be responsible for documentation, support, and training of the end user to use new tools and methods.
 

Qualifications

 
Qualified candidates for this position will have:

  • Good knowledge of CMOS circuit and DSM physical design, as well as CMOS process manufacturing and layout rules. 
  • Good programming fundamentals as well as exposure to various programming languages, in depth knowledge and understanding of the Cadence design environment, and custom layout (or support thereof) experience. 
  • In depth experience in the SKILL programming language (Preferred), recent and relevant experience in C, C++, JAVA, Visual Basic, FORTRAN, or Python. (Considered)  Relevant industry experience. (Preferred) 
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.

    Education:
    BS in Computer Engineering or EE/CS with appropriate relevant experience.
