Long Term Contract for Agile LAMP Developer

Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Linux/Apache/Mysql/PHP developer for a long term contract to help serve multiple clients and develop some internal systems.
- You will be part of a distributed team responsible for building web apps and associated automated test suites.
- Number one priority is delivering working features using a custom PHP framework.
- You will also need to help with framework development and agile tooling, automating as much of the dev/test/deploy process as possible.
- Recurring monthly contract with an initial target of 6-12 months. Paid at $30-$75+/hr (DOE).
- Possibility for additional projects dependent on breadth of skills.
- Possibility for full-time employment.
- Telecommuting OK, but need availability during U.S. working hours.

Requirements:
- Experience with PHP, with a thorough understanding of Javascript, HTML & CSS. Basic understanding of HTTP / Web security.
- Commitment to automated testing and bug free software.
- Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner.
- Genuine curiosity, integrity, and self-motivation.
- Own your own computer and have a reliable internet connection.

Pluses:
- Experience with agile development practices such as continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
- Experience with multivariate testing of functionality.
